An Ethernet cable is a way to connect to the DLink range extender as well as the Computer.

After that, launch the wireless utility application on your personal computer.

Then, select the name of the D-Link network extender and then enter your password.

Start a web browser on your PC and type the default web address dlinkap.local of the D-Link extender. You may also enter the extension's IP address i.e. http://192.168.0.50.

The next screen the D-Link Extender login screen appears, enter the d-link extender login default login credentials. Click on the 'Login' button.

Next, when you reach the page for configuration Click on the 'Setup Tab.

Then, you can open the dlinkap.local wizard to set up and follow the onscreen instructions.

Set the security and wireless settings for the d-link Extender device.

To complete the D-Link extension setup, click on 'Finish. After the setup process is complete then reboot the D-link extender once and attempt to setup once more.
